All of our facilities, including five sheets of the best ice around, are available during the curling season and our lounges and dance hall are also available during the summer for weddings and events. All prices are subject to GST.
Ice
Bring a group of your friends to try out the sport or try something different for your corporate party and have us plan a curling event for you. We will prepare as many sheets as you require and provide tape or sliders and brooms with all ice rentals. All you have to bring is a clean pair of shoes (not worn outside) and a comfortable pair of pants.
A single sheet of our ice can be rented for $40 per hour. In a normal game, there are usually two teams with four people each playing over a two-hour period.
For small events, three sheets may be rented for 2 hrs for $200 or 4 – 8 hrs for $350.
If you have a large event and require more than three sheets, all five sheets may be rented for 2 hrs for $300 or 4 – 8 hrs for $500. If you wish to hold a multi-day event, please contact the office for a rental price.
Dance Hall
All rentals include the use of our main lounge and bar.
The second floor of the curling club houses a dance hall with tables and seating for 120 people and a band stage. The hall overlooks the ice surface and has both men’s and women’s washroom facilities. Our kitchen is equipped with two refrigerators, a six-burner propane range with oven and a serving window into the dance hall. All of these facilities may be rented for $300 per day, and you may decorate the hall as you wish. A private bar is provided with the rental.
Fireplace Lounge
Our smaller lounge on the main floor boasts an island stone fireplace, big-screen TV, and provides a cozy atmosphere for a small party or meeting. There are tables and seating for 40 and a private counter to the main bar. Any of our members wanting to hold an event in the fireplace lounge may reserve the room for free. Non-members are charged $50.
Deposits and Refunds
All rentals over $100 require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost at the time of the reservation. If full payment has been made, 50% will be returned at the time of cancellation.
